Joel Goode, MD
Dr. Goode is a native Texan. He attended undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated in 1990 with a BBA in Biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston in 1994. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Southwest Memorial Family Practice Program in Houston and served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Goode moved to Round Rock in 1997 and is a founding member of Brushy Creek Family Physicians. He is active on Round Rock Medical Center committees and served as Chief of Medicine in 2000. He is the site coordinator for family medicine in Williamson County and Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M medical school. He and his wife Mary have two children and they attend First United Methodist church in Round Rock. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending UT sports, playing soccer, basketball and golf, and coaching youth sports.
